How to Rig this?

Hi, I am a total begginer at rigging and I would like to do it on this part.
It is an aircraft landing gear and in order to retract, the part as to move following the arrows, but stay attatched to the LDG on one side and on the fuselage on the other side.

Ideas of how to do ?

You want the strut to be two parts, rotating at the center? You should be looking into IK constraints. It’s a constraint that finds the proper angle for 2 or more bones to reach a target.

I don’t think I can give a full run-down of IK here, but there should be plenty of information out there now that you know what to search for. Here, I’ll warn you that it would be better if the landing gear was modeled halfway open, as that will tell the IK which direction to bend (since it can create the proper angle by bending either toward or away from the fuselage.)
