How to save render passes to separate files?

Hi!

I would like to save render passes to exterior image files separated to give it to be composited in other application. Is it possible?

Yes. You do it in the compositor, using the “Output” node.

Thanks guys, thats what I found also - I hoped that there is a secret checkbox somewhere which saves passes automatically named and ordered into folders :wink:

that would be the multilayer-EXR, available in the output formats panel. though i am not sure whether your other application can read that.
