OMG That is weird. I am beginning to think someone is hiding things on purpose. I went to several wiki’s and everyone has visible search field. Thanks.
In the past the search field was always showing when I went to the wiki. For the last few months it seems to be hidden by default.
Another trick for searching a site is site:http://www.example_url.com searchstring (works in google). This is like searching for your normal searchstring, but restricted to the site:“your_site” . Sometimes this gives better results than a page’s internal search algorithm.
