Hello, my question is simple, how can I set a focus length (in mm) for an equirectangular camera for cycles?

Simple answer, you don’t (afaik anyway). You set angle limits. Does such cameras even exist in real life? I thought it was still balls, wide angle, fish-eye and stitching still. If they don’t exist, it makes sense not to have that notion.
Edit: Oh, sorry. I read focal. But I guess answer still applies? If you need to, maybe the depth pass still exist in post? I’m not sure. Sounds like a weird thing to do 
Edit2: Object selection is still valid (pick an empty). I’m not sure if it works though.
