Hi, i would like to know how to smooth out the white noise on my scene using the photon mapping =(… I’ve tried a lot of settings but no success yet…
That could be caustic noise which you could resolve by adjusting ‘Caustic Mix’ and ‘Search’, or it could be as simple as increasing the AA samples or passes. It is even possible the lighting method is causing it.
Without seeing the file it is difficult for me to say.
