How to tell if object is in view

Hi,

I need to know if an object lies in view of the active camera.

Is there a function that projects the camera’s view that I could use? Or even simpler is there a function that I could use?

You can use the Radar sensor

That would still give me objects behind and out side the view of the camera though.

Have a look at this. http://bgepython.isgreat.org/KX_Camera.KX_Camera-class.html

Thanks for that link, I will try some of that stuff out tomorrow after my nap

Edit, thanks pointInsideFrustum() does the job.

intresting thread …
