How to transform library asset children with Library Override?

Hello! I’ve made this simple CCTV camera as a library asset:

It consists of a Collection with two child objects — the arm and the camera body. Once the asset is linked in my scene I can move and rotate it as desired. But my hope was that using the Library Override feature I could then rotate the camera body part to make the different instances point in different directions. It seems this isn’t possible unfortunately as changing the transformation of a child object has no effect. Am I missing something, or is there a better way to achieve this? Thanks!
