I made a snake…then I made an armature for it…I parented the snake to the armature… then later on I realised I was going to need a new bone to control the fangs of the snake… so I went into armature edit mode and added a bone where it was needed…then I go back to the snake in edit mode…but the new bone doesnt show up in the vertex group list… how do I update the vertex grp list to include the new bone I added ?? I would really appreciate any help …thank you.
I think you have to update it manually. Just go under the vertex group section and click the “new” button, then make this vertex group the name of the bone you added.
Now add the vertices or weight paint it.
