How to use the Bevel Weight tool in blender 2.57a ?

as the the title hope to find the answer here
i searched for this but not found .
and how i could weight an point under suddiv surface and make it sharp or give it a weighting amount like in cinema 4d lmb+numpad .

Bevel weights have not yet been ported over to 2.57. You can tag an edge as a bevel from the Mesh Options (T) with the bevel modifier set to Weight. This gives the edge a weight of 100%

I don’t know C4D but to add a crease to an edge select the edge and Shift+E or type in the crease value in the Transform Properties (N)

get Edge Tools from tube.freefac.org -a working version here- and run or install as an addon… call ‘Set Bevel Weight’ from Ctrl+E menu and press F6 later to change values… or just type ‘bevel’ after SpaceBar :slight_smile:
