How would I model this shape?

I was curious at how one would model this shape with clean topology. Since these repeating elements are slanted at an angle in many parts, I just can’t wrap my head around how this would be made without getting too fiddly. (If they were perfectly horizontal I’d get it)

Model it horizontally then you’ll work out how to give it some slanting. Part of modelling is simply going for it and you will work it out as you go or clean up topology later. Also: Array, Simple Deform, Subdivision modifiers will be useful here. Also: Inset tool.

I agree with other opinions.
Part of the overall shape is made in a plane, and modifiers are used to transform it into a cylindrical shape, and the rest of it is modeled.

you could also model it as a cylinder with straight grooves, then twist the mesh:
