Just in general, how would you make a curve sidewalk that looks realistic in cycles but so that the tiles are sort of realistically evenly spaced as they travel along a curved path?
Do you make one tile of sidewalk then use an array modifier? Do you make one tile, copy it a bunch, then use the curve modifier? I’m not entirely sure. The only tutorials I’ve seen are for preset sizes of sidewalks.
I am no expert at this, and ironically, I literally learned just yesterday how to do this. Basically, you model your sidewalk tile, then add a curve as a “path” for your sidewalk to follow. For your sidewalk tile, add a curve modifier. Then use the pick tool, and select the curve path. Then add an array modifier. Set the count to however much you need, and you’re all set. Also, if you need the sidewalk to look nice on uneven terrain, just apply a shrinkwrap tool to the curve path and then select the terrain. Once you’re happy with your results, just apply all of the modifiers, and you’re all set!

This works nicely, thank you.
