Howto extend a water simulation

I made a high res water simulation rendered it Cycles which altogether took me 36 hours.
The baking of it all took me around 16 hour
However it stopped at frame 250, apparently its not baked after 250 frames…

I always render to png files, i dont want to do those 250 frames again, as i already have them.

Would it be possible somehow to extend baking from frame 250 to 400, without rebaking the whole simulation ?
And how should i do that… ?

(here are the settings i used, at 30 fps)


I don’t think you can do it without re-baking the whole thing.

Maybe, unlikely you can 1) duplicate the domain, on the first domain apply the already baked fluid sim at the last frame, and change that new water mesh to type ‘fluid’. Then bake the additional frames on the domain. I really doubt this would work.
