CGI renders for a Hublot watch project.
I made all the aspects of this in Blender from modeling to rendering and post processing the images. Hope you enjoy them

It looks so perfect! Is it cycles? the glass looks very brilliant especially.

Sure is!! Cycles is an underrated beast

Yes, sort of! It’s pretty unpredictable… its lights are much softer than other engines in some terms but but they lack depth and at the same time the shader nodes are a headache, for example I myself cannot get such glass without Shaderplus addon easily. My forever problem with Cycles is that it doesn’t respond well when the scene is not busy (interactions) that shows some kind of GI calculation problem in this engine. BTW have you used HDRI for the lighting setup in this scene?

I also use Shaderplus sometimes, but mostly when I want really realistic renders. I don’t use it often since it slows down the viewport performance.

And about the HDRI, I don’t use them that much. Like this project here, I didn’t use any HDRi. I mostly rely on the Sky texture and Area lights.
