Huge wall projection in Lyon, France - Blender involved !

Hi there !

I am proud to present to you our brand new animation “Glouglou’ton”. It was made for a very big event taking place in Lyon, France, called “La fête des lumière” which is happening these days (6 - 9 dec)

Blender was part of our workflow during the production of this very short film designed to be projected on a 24 meters high wall (79 feet). More precisely, it’s great fluid simulator was used for the begining and ending parts. The animation and rendering were done with 3ds max. We used After Effects for the compositing.

Another great proof that Blender can be used among major and commercial production tools.
If you planned to spend some time in Lyon, you will be able to see the projection and maybe meet the team in the “18 rue de la charité” near the bellecour place !
