An eyeball I modeled and rendered for the purpose of re-using in future projects requiring it. The sclera texture is entirely hand-painted using Blender’s painting tools, and the iris texture was generated from a photograph (I extracted bump and deep displacement information from it). Rendered in cycles

Thanks, I think working on a displacement map really helped.
That is seriously good. Although I may cringe when I look at it just because its an unconnected eye, it is actually the best eyeball I have ever seen rendered.
Not a fan of the over used chromatic aberration and lens deformation, now negativity aside the model and eyeball render is extremely nice.
I think it will look great on your future models!
