Hunting Rifle

First real try to create something realistic in blender, but it still needs work on the environment and lighting, let alone the actual gun texturing and materials.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

I’d say that so far it’s looking pretty nice, especially for your first real attempt!
As for the materials, you could apply a simple texture even without UV mapping, by making a simple node setup that looks like so:


And adjusting the scale, rotation and location on the mapping node will allow you to adjust it’s location on the model.
