Does anyone here know the best way to create a hurricane in Blender? I’ve tried using displacement on a mesh, but I couldn’t get the smaller, detached pieces of cloud; only the large, main shape. In addition to that, I was guessing volumetric materials would work, but they don’t :frowning: Help on this would be greatly appreciated, and sorry if this is posted in the wrong section (this could go under multiple categories)

Is it something like this you’re trying to make?

Yes, that is

(Volumetric smoke) or (particles with billboard clouds) and a vortex force field, or particle billboard clouds follow spiral curve guides and rotate them.
