I am a beginner of blend

I’ve just been learning Blender for two weeks. To be honest, I only have a little time for it each day, but I love it. Since Christmas is coming, I decided to make this!

I tried my best and used every technique I know. I think it’s not bad, but it’s also not perfect… I’m not sure how to make it better. Do you have any suggestions? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, I’m new to this forum and still figuring out how everything works — this is my first topic. If you spot any mistakes in my post or if anything is unclear, please let me know so I can improve. Thanks!

I think I made a good enough result with a short amount of learning.
The configuration itself is simple, so I don’t know what else it would help to add.

However, the movement of the camera is a little awkward.

Make the video less than 5mb for others to see easily and attach it to this post with the file format mp4. :slightly_smiling_face:

Honestly, you’ve surpassed me.

But if you want my advice, maybe a little snow.

Thanks for the tip! I gave it a try and it worked perfectly.

You’re right, and thanks for the feedback!
Actually, what I was trying to achieve is a bit more complex. I wanted the animation to start with the two spirals extending flat on the ground (like two snakes crawling quickly), and then slowly rise and twist into the Christmas tree shape in the air.
I haven’t quite figured out how to make that transition smoothly yet. Do you have any tips on animating such a 2D to 3D transformation for curves?

It is simple to create and animate that curve with geometry nodes without particles.
You can use this because the geometry node has a spiral node.
But applying particles can be a difficult problem.

You can refer to the spring rigging method in another way.
