Wacom Intuos4! :D:D:D
This thing is fantastic; so far my favorite features are the multi-function touch wheel and express keys. It seems to work great, and the sleek dark design with white LCDs is very easy on the eyes.
How do other tablet users here have them configured for Blender? I just set mine up a minute ago so that the main pen nib is MMB to rotate the view, bottom pen button is RMB for select, and top pen button is LMB for 3d cursor and menu selection. Not all tablets have this, but the touch wheel functions for zoom inside Blender.
For everything not Blender, I have the nib as LMB, lower button as double-click, and the top button as RMB.
Using the included mouse doesn’t seem to feel any different from using my old mouse, but I think I actually might prefer using the pen. It will take a bit of getting-used-to though, since sometimes when I use the pen I still tend lift and drag to get to the very edge of the screen as if I was using a mouse. As a result I end up putting my cursor right back where I started since the pen uses an absolute screen coordinate system.
I can’t wait to put this baby to good use!
P.S. The Intuos4 comes in small, medium, large, and extra-large sizes. I got the large, which has an active area of 12.8" x 8".
