Hello! I modeled this rose for a contest that hadn’t anything to do with flowers, just for the background; but I really like the way it finally looked, so i decided to do the Rose’s first solo
Rendered in cycles with only 300 samples.
I used a nice HDRI map taken from http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/archive.html
The flower looks really well done. My only critiques would be to lower that chromatic aberration you have there. Give it some DoF and add a bit of translucency to the flower material.
Great image, but maybe you could try to put the focus on a point… here everything seems blurred, as if out of focus… am i wrong? Very nice work anyway :yes:
