Hi,
I try to drag an drop files in the blender file view. I can drag the chosen file, but when i drop it on the targeted folder, nothing happen.
In the exemple below (screen capture), I try to drag & drop the “untitled” file (selected) in the “ZZ test” folder. But it doesn’t work.
Does blendler allow to do it ? Something wrong in my way to handle it ?

The blender file viewer is not a file explorer substitute… it’s onlye to selecting files or folders and maybe creating the later… Why would someone drag a file into this ? Wouldn’t some windows user use the explorer or any other file browser for this ?? Even for moving some files…
i never had the idea to drag any file into any file viewer of any app… is this common in windows ?? I also never had the ide on linux which i’m working with… 
No idea either, this never worked for any application file viewer afaik…

That’s right this is common in windows system.
That’s why I did it without any question and was suprised of the result : 
I did’nt know what to deduce because a yellow label appeared “file selector drop” (see the capture screen above) letting me thinking it was possible …
