I can't find the SubSurf button.

Hi guys.

I’ve downloaded the newest version of blender (2.48a). But i can’t seem to find the SubSurf button. I’ve seen older versions of the program, and they have it.
Am i doing something wrong? Or could there be anything else wrong?
I hope you can help me :slight_smile:

It is now in the modifier panel.

To Auto Subsurf and object. Select the object to subsurf. Press Ctrl and 1. Or press Ctrl and 2. The number being the number of levels you would like to start with.
