I can't mirror select my mesh properly

Note: I used the symmetrize tool a few times and tried to mirror select and it still doesn’t work, can somebody please help? Also here is a picture to show what happens if I try to mirror select. Only the head and hands don’t mirror select normally but the rest of the body does, what is happening??

You have enabeled the option : Topology Mirror…

Sometimes this doesn’t selecte a perfect mirror… so simply try to deselect it. ( Worked at least with 3.6.15…)
