When i zoom in and out of my mesh the object at some point when i get close enough to it gets alot smaller almost like its trying to shrink it into the screen. How do I turn that off please?
So im in front view here:
but if i click the middle mouse button so i can look around the head it shrinks it and i want it to be actual size please.
Thanks,

chaning focal length should help

or click on that button to turn off perspective
Keep in mind that this photo you are trying to remodel was shoot by a real camera with real lens that includes perspective. That means that when you try to model this head in the ortographic view it definitly will look screwed up later in the render.
That image you described as shrinked is actually how your mesh look in the perspective so you should fix this model instead of going back to ortographic look
Like jerzygorskiart said, trying to model a face from a photo in orthographic mode will result in distortion. The default 50mm focal length doesn’t do the distortion any favors either up close (see image).
I always use 80mm for the viewport. It seems more natural, plus it’s favored by photographers for portraits. You may still need to adjust the model if you modeled in Ortho, but it’ll be easier to to get natural results.
Use N to open the Properties Panel, go to View → Focal Length set to 80mm (or other value if preferred).
To model in perspective front/side view, press Numpad5 to switch from ortho to perspective while in front/side view.
