I could never get Blendigo/Indigo to work right...

Hi! I’ve had this problem for as long as I started (attempting to) use Indigo. I load Blendigo into the text editor, then I press Alt+P. So far so good, and then I export my scene into an .igs file, then load it into Indigo. That’s where the problem begins. I start Indigo, I open the scene in the browser, then I wait about 2 seconds, then I get this error message:

What do I do to get Indigo to actually work? Most of the sample files work, but I always get this message when I try to use my own file.

Normally, the reason for this error is that you didn’t use exactly the same Version of Blendigo and Indigo.

So verify if you exportet from Blendigo X.y.z to Indigo X.y.z.

I hope that helps you.

Are you using different version numbers of blendigo and indigo.

Looks like the exporter is creating entries in the scene file export that the version of indigo you’re running doesn’t recognise.

Check the version numbers, they need to be the same in most cases. For example Indigo v0.9.10 then Blendigo v0.9.10

EDIT Darn posted at same time as JulianH

Thanks! That would explain it! : )
