I need to know, if you can use blenders particle systems with the yafray rendering. its makeing me mad because its not showing up. can someone help me plzz?

Halo effects do not work in yafray
Hmm - Could you try rendering the particles seperately and them composit the two together? (Either in Blender or external compositor like Gimp)
