Did this as an exercise to get back into the swing of things.
First time really trying to use SSS, and particle hair in cycles. I must admit that I had quite a hard time getting the hair to do exactly what I wanted it to. It’s still not perfect, but short of tweaking each individual strand, there’s not much else could do.
Rendered in cycles on a 660ti, GPU render. Took about 1 1/2 hours with 2000 samples.
