I follow a 3-minute tutorial on my first addon... but fail

So I’m following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-BOWF82Er4, the code looks like this:

bl_info = {"name" : "NamePeopleSee",   "category": "3D View",   "author": "YourNAME"}
import bpy
class NameOfYourAddon(bpy.types.Menu):
    bl_label = "NameThatAppears"
    bl_idname = "NameBlenderSees"
    def draw(self, context):
        layout = self.layout

        """ EVERYTHING BELOW IS YOUR KINGDOM """

        layout.operator("mesh.primitive_cube_add")

        """ EXCEPT THE STUFF UNDER HERE """

def register(): bpy.utils.register_class(NameOfYourAddon)
def unregister(): bpy.utils.unregister_class(NameOfYourAddon)
if __name__ == "__main__": register()

I want a shortcut for adding a bevel modifier, so I pasted this:

layout.operator("object.modifier_add(type='BEVEL')")

I click Run Script and there are no errors, but when I install and use the addon, the addon menu appears, but there is no button for adding a bevel modifier. There is nothing. The default code from the tutorial works, so it has to be something wrong with the line I add.

What do I do wrong?

layout.operator("object.modifier_add", text="Bevel").type='BEVEL'

So if I want to add other parameters I do it like this?

layout.operator("object.modifier_add", text="Bevel").type='BEVEL'.profile=0.7.segments=5

Not exactly. If you want multiple parameters you do this.

add_cube = layout.operator("mesh.primitive_cube_add")
add_cube.size = 4.0
add_cube.calc_uvs = True
add_cube.enter_editmode = True

This works for the cube ,but not for modifiers ,cause the only parameter for adding modifier is type.

Modifier operator
https://docs.blender.org/api/master/bpy.ops.object.html#bpy.ops.object.modifier_add

Cube operator
https://docs.blender.org/api/master/bpy.ops.mesh.html#bpy.ops.mesh.primitive_cube_add

Oh, ok. So I can’t add a Bevel modifier with non-default parameters like 6 segments, 0.6 profile, limit method = weight and so on in a single stroke?

Here’s an example from stackexchange
https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/86242/add-modifier-to-all-objects-and-change-modifier-property

you add it, then you change it afterward.

Thank you.
