I have a problem when i make my animation

I’m relatively new to animation and currently facing a challenge that I hope you can help me with.

I’ve created a basic animation involving a Box and an Armature. I used the Armature to animate both rotation and forward movement. To organize my work, I utilized NLA strips. Now, I’m attempting to create an animation where both movement and rotation occur simultaneously.

To achieve this, I selected both the movement and rotation, baked them together, and named the new animation “move and rotation.” Wanting to keep my NLA strips clear, I deleted the individual move and rotation strips. However, after doing this, I noticed that my “move and rotation” animation no longer includes movement.

Surprisingly, when I bake the animation, selecting both move and rotation and in bake animation panel use object , it works perfectly. I’m puzzled because I initially created the animation using the Armature, but during baking, choosing the object seems to yield the desired results.

Any insights into why this might be happening would be greatly appreciated.

If possible, post the problematic .blend file.

It works for me if I animate the movement and the rotation as separate actions (push down individually) and then select both of them in the NLA, and select bake. I didn’t change anything in that panel. It seems maybe you didn’t do all your animating in Pose Mode, and you chose Pose Mode in the baking panel.

Also, you don’t have to delete them to eliminate their contribution, just toggle the check mark…

Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for reply
This is my blend file

Thanks for your reply. I redo the animation and I got the same answer.
As for removing those animations strips I just want to keep the NLA panel clean.
And i post my blend file link in below

Hello, sorry for the delay. I had to upgrade my OS so I could use 4.0. Looking at your file, I see the problem, but if I clear the animation and do it again it seems to work. If I unlink the old actions (loc and rot) and only leave the combined animation, save and reload, the action is there with the combination. I don’t know why this happened but it seems to work as expected. I hope I’m not missing something.
