Snif, snif… I thaugh I’d do some maintenance
but now I have to do penance
it all went fine, all was “OK” to boot
then the system asked to reboot…
I acknowledged the request
and so started my quest
I need a new bios chip
or another motherboard that’s hip
something to run 2.27 on
but now I can do is cry on.

Well, you could download the bios and flash it or you could reset the CMOS or replace the bios. There’s also a way to backup your bios on a disket, which is alot cheaper then buying a mainboard that have two bios.

if you are using a Giga-byte motherboard like mine.

it has Dual Bios which means you can load the old bios back from the second bios chip onto the first.

hence saving you if a virus hits or you muck it up like you did LOL.
