I leave BA for PA...

…where PA stands for Polish Army
Today I got my ‘ticket’. With 2nd august I will be gone for about 9 months (or more, if I will go insane). If eveything will go right, I will get truck driver license :eyebrowlift2:
So I will be Jelcz driver like ZOMO squad :RocknRoll: (try to wiki it if ya want) (ad2. more probably it will be Star not Jelcz (truck type), but Jelcz is more… can’t find the word… “kóól” ;))
I will miss blender a lot! Hope I won’t forget what I have learned.

I wonder how new versions of blender will look. Who will win BWC. Peach project…
ehh, I don’t want to go there anymore

I’ll try to put some word here If I will get to home. Maybe for a month, from today.

So, there’s only 9 days left.
Well, I will miss all of you, blenderheads!

Keep up blending! Show the world waht you can do with blender!

lol good luck with that
on November 6th i will also be going away from blender for about a year (US navy lol) so until my training is over i don’t think i will be able to use a computer (unless im allowed a laptop in A school or C school)

so don’t worry, your not the only 1

Good luck, and remain yourself. I was in army for 6 months (it’s 6-9-12) because it’s compulsory in Finland, or you do civil service for 13 months, or just go to jail.

Vitaliy, good luck to you too! Glad I’m not alone.

Falgor, it’s compulsory here as well(well, you can still choose education, or go to police, fire dep. or hospital in exchange, for 16 months, if Im not wrong). In the past it was 2 years, year ago it was 12 months, no it’s only 9.

Army is cool.
I will let me shoot, they will prove me I can run miles everyday with ton on my back, that I wont freeze in winter, footing is eatable, army is world with diferent physics.
They will tell me when I can shoot a man.
I will learn to clean, make bed, dig, wake up in the morning,
and to cry silently… (hehe. When my friend went to army 3 years ago, I told him to learn that)

Best of Luck to all of you.

Vitaliy - USN - Been there done that - very many years ago Machinery Repairman (MR)…the equivalent of a machinist in civilian world.

lol ron, im an EM, 4 year contract for me

Good luck, Nebular. It will be an experience of a lifetime. If you don’t have a camera, buy one as soon as you can and use it! You’ll be glad you did years from now.

@vitaliy - After bootcamp you’ll have free time after school -unless you get bad grades, then it’s mandatory night study for you. Laptop is cool unless things have drastically changed. Keep it locked in your locker when not using it or it WILL disappear.
.

Thanks Larry, maybe I will get the camera. I know it will bring me many good memories and experience.

Lockers aren’t too good imho, at least here, heh.
In my job, there is securyty, cameras (not in longue, though) but veryoften someone breaks to the lockers and steals the stuff…
I lost my cigaretes like that… glad that scum didn’t notice the mobile phone.

I wouldn’t take with me so expensive thing like laptop, unless I woule be preety sure how to keep it safe.

vitaliy, maybe we will meet up on a war or something
