I dont know if this post should be in this forum but I’m posting it anyway.
I really need some good env-maps. the only one I’ve got is in black and white and don’t look very nice. so if anyone has got a good link I could really use it.

If you want to have a ‘realistic’ effect you must build an environment around your model and let Blender compute the envmap
If you want some quick and dirty envmap then you can take whatever
image you want, cut to square, and then replicate 3 times horizontal and two vertical to have a 3x2 repetition and a 3:2 aspect ratio image.
This leads to elievable results, unless of course a Real Blender Guru watches the image carefully.

I think he meant Reflection maps. Images with backgrounds that can be used as reflection maps.
