I Need Help From a Blender User Since V2.31

I’m following a tutorial for school and the tut is using v2.31 but I’m using v2.48a. The buttons aren’t even the same.

Here is what I’m having to work with. If you know what these have been renamed to or where they have been moved to, please help me.

So far I have figured out the following:
Tot = Amount
Sta, End, Life (top row) = the same

Please help me fast! I still have to do a 60 second animation and everything has to be handed in by tomorrow (June 12) or I will fail.

since you only have a day

why don’t you DL the 2.31 version of Blender
and then you can follow along with the tute

then next week when you have more time you can learn the newer particle system
