I need some help baking normals

Ok so what I want to do is create a mesh a high poly one and create the normal texture on blender the problem is I don’t get the fine detail of it any ideas on what could I do?.

You have not supplied any .blend file to review !!

From the screenshot you have only 3 objects in your scene (object called ‘high’, a lamp and a camera)
The normal map captures the difference in normals from one object (usually high resolution) and another object (low resolution object). This is why you have the ‘Selected to Active’ option enabled in the bake settings. You have only a single high resolution object so you are in effect baking the difference in normals between the same object which is zero and hence you see no details.

I suggest you go to youtube and search for a tutorial on baking normal maps in blender such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bck1eU4e8xo

sorry I’m new in this forum, I know you have to use a low poly and a high poly but for my purposes I just need the high poly because I’m not working with geometry I’m just doing texture work with the normals.

So far we have try different programs for this this we tried the normal map generator made by a guy on github and the plugin of Nvida for photoshop, none of these get the level of quality that we want, do you have any suggestions for software or is there a work around on blender to achieve this?.
