I need some suggestions/advice.

What’s the best way to make a sandstorm? See, I have a desert with a moving texture on it that moves in the direction the wind is suppose to be blowing it, but I need some kind of sand or something flowing across the screen. I’ll post a .blend if needed.

I’m thinking a lot of alpha mapped planes that move in the direction of the wind, but I’m sure there’s a better way.

In the world parameters, turn on mist, and make the sky sand colored, and then make a bunch of empty’s that spawn alpha planes that are set on halo that have sand texture in the direction of the wind. For best results, make a random script that makes them spawn different sand alpha planes randomly.
