hmm… well i have no problem making my 3d models (and i must say they do look good :-? ) but the problem is that i am NOT a texture artist , so i was just wondering if anyone out there has a “fave” site that they like to get all there textures from (like grass and stone and all that good stuff). any help at all would be sooo great, thx.

u get a lot of usefull textures out of games.
me e.g. got about 1 GB of textures from this source now including
AVP2
Tribes 2
Homeworld
Homeworld:Cataclysm
games normaly contain everything u need. from terrain textures over vehicles and weapons to stackables, walls, doors, gadgets…
it is easier to use these and alter them for your models then make complete new ones.
if u need some u have to tell me what kind and i can upload some of these games
