I remember an example of a clay animation where parts separated using shapekeys and sculpt tool?

Now I can’t find anything about it.

I think it was using shapekeys and sculpt tool. Maybe it was in Blender News a few years ago with an example animation of it.

It was that shape keys could save two different shapes not having the same vertex count or something like that.
