I Suspect A Bug in the Viewport Render setting of Blender 4.3.2

I created a scene in Blender 4.3.2 and appended the same scene in Blender 4.0.2, but the viewport scene in Blender 4.3.2 looks of lower quality than that of Blender 4.0.2. Why is this so?

These are screenshots of both scenes.

I have compared the settings of the viewport for both versions and they are the same.

I think it’s about the image edge stair phenomenon.

The samples were originally 8, so I changed it to 5 samples but the difference isn’t much.

What is this we are looking at, material Preview or Display Render Preview, Cycles or Eevee?
In 4.2 Eevee has been replaced with Eeve Next, so if you toggle between 4.3 and 4.0 its different. Quite some stuff has been implenented differently, so no its no bug IMO. Its a “different” render engine.
