I think I’ve encountered a BUG! Or maybe I’m just a novice. I’m using version 2.73 because I need gtx970 compatibility. Here is a brief description of what I’m doing. I am simulating a near the shore underwater scene where the camera moves and the movement of the water moves the stuff on the floor from one side to another. But it ain’t working. In the viewport everything looks fine, but when I render the first few frames turn out fine, but later on all I get is the background and ocasional objects popping in and out. I started getting the problem with my first go, and have repeatedly redone the scene four times simplifying it each time and I keep getting the same result.
Here are the blend files, the first one is the latest test, the second the very first attempt:
I’m not sure this is a particles and physics simulation related problem though. I did another test with version 2.70, and the render worked fine, but the particle system here behaved erratically.
Could anybody help me resolving this issue either with a fix or with another approach? Thank you.
