Matt

WOW! amazing work as always!! great modelling, lighting and texturing, right on the job!
Excellent model.
Now all you need is a guy with a case of beer, smoking a cigarette with a pack tucked under his shirt sleeve and with a mullet and this will be perfect.

Let me ask. You’ve started with this car yesterday? :o %| :-?
I really, really, really love the colour of that vehicle! And the model’s not bad either, but the colour… ahh… simply grrrrrrrrrreat
Can I ask to see a wireframe out of curiosity???
I certainly couldn’t do that in a day in Blender for modelling, Wings maybe, but I’d guess it would have more bevelled edges if it was done in Wings . . .
Let me ask. You’ve started with this car yesterday
i started it the day before i posted it… wednsday ?
Very cool! But what’s the OSA at? It looks a bit jagged in places.
Goo
Great model - it’s a very efficient use of polys. What subsurf level is it on? The curves look coarse in some areas (like in the corder of the windscreen, near the rear view mirror) and perhaps this could be solved with some more subdivision in the subsurfs. Or maybe it’s just the way it’s supposed to look - I don’t know much about the design of those cars Looks good!
Wow, this shows that, even after several months, you never forget what you learn in Blender
nice modeling…and yes the colour is good too.but i think it looks a bit too subsurf-ish.it should have been more edgy…closer to a mesh rather.it can be achieved easily by keeping more rows of vertices around the edges.but i think as time goes by you will learn all the tricks.good luck.
Goo- the osa is all the way up… its just jagged cuz i didnt render it big and resize it
broken- subsurf is at 3
kos - yi know i could use some more polys… but i was going for low poly and the model is actually only around 600 polyrs unsubsurfed(not counting wheels/tires)
very cool! one of the best car scenes ive seen in blender ever.
The only thing that i noticed was the steeringwheel, it looks a bit thin and too small for the car.
i updated the pic a little… prolly stuff no 1 would notice so ill tell ya what i did
-i sharpened the top back part of the window because i noticed it was smooth and wasnt sopposed 2 be
- i turned down the tint on the windows so you could see inside a little better
- changed the texture on the tires
- gave some depth to the car around the window instead of it being paper thing
Stylish! You did that in a day? I wish I could make something that quick…
great car, nice color, looks like if it had come from a magazine pic, cana you model other cars, subaru impresa 2003? ford mustang 83? or any kool black musclecar you canthink of. it only lacks the window shine, cuz the windows seem like empty
