I want Cubey back. Waaaaa.

The topics here are getting hopeless. I have his email. Should I convince him to come back?

I’m sure he’s matured a bit.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Kansas and Cubefan collide. It would be like an experiment, bring him back and see what heppens, and if he hasn’t matured ban him again. :stuck_out_tongue:

unless they are truly one in the same.

I think Cube was mormon.

Mormons are Christians. And I should know. I’m Mormon.

Sadly, I wasn’t a member during CubeFan’s reign as hellraiser around here, but I have browsed through some of his posts and I think that Kansas’s and CubeFan’s writing styles are too dissimilar to be the same person. But, hey, I could be horribly wrong.

To be honest, I don’t mind conflict… it’s sure making things a heck of a lot more interesting around the OT forum.

Maybe so, but people who are just “regular Christians” cannot possibly get along with Mormons.

I have Cubefan’s email too, and I’ve kind of thought the same thing. It would be “fun” to see him again. (Quotation marks intentional.)

I got really confused, when I got back here a while ago (I moved, and didn’t have net connection until recently), and saw Kansas_15’s writings… the first thing I thought was that Cubefan was back :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
So, is he really him? And why isn’t he banned anyways, if he isn’t Cubefan? Was he banned at sometime? could someone please fill me in on these

Its possible. I have a Mormon friend. When we get into theological debates, I get on his nerves and he gets on mine all the time, but we will put religious differences aside most of the time. Besides, it can be refreshing arguing with someone with different POV than you.

I have no idea who cubefan is, never even seen any of his posts, but it sounds like he was a hell of a trouble maker :o

Not sure how long he has been banned, but I think it was a while, maybe he won’t be back even if you do unban him.

Mystery

Mormans have Jesus christ and such in their religion but they believe in completely different things. Mormons are not true christians much like the christians aren’t mormon.

go say that to a mormon you prick.

what variety of christianity are you there are.

Mormons. (church of jesus christ and the later day saints)
anglican
lutheran (spelling?)
chatholic
protestant
destiny church (AKA New Zealand Neo Nazi like church)

not one single church even of the same religion believes in things the same way.

who is the correct one then?

I’m just saying, the mormon religion is very different from christianity, if you think it’s so similar take the book of mormon and the bible and try to prove they’re the same

Kansas, you just keep talking.

Have you ever even read the book of the Mormans?

Would you care to elaborate on that Kansas?

What is your definition of a “true christian”? Why wouldn’t a mormon qualify?

I believe part of the christian thing could be answered by looking at the church’s FULL name: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. “Mormon” is just a nickname.

Christianity is a VERY broad term, Kansas… even I know that christianity=a bunch of subsets that all have a common belief

I agree with Delta and am deleting my post because it has nothing to do with topic at hand.

Christian:

  1. Professing belief in Jesus Christ of following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.

  2. Relating to or derived from Jesus or Jesus’s teachings.

We may have some “peculiar” customs (polygamy NOT being one of those customs, in case you were curious :)), but that doesn’t mean we’re not Christians. We meet the criteria stated above.

Now that’s a fallacy if I ever heard one.

And what exactly is that supposed to prove? Have you actually read the Book of Mormon? If you had, you would know that it is not meant to replace the traditional Bible in our religion, nor is it supposed to be “the same as the Bible.” It’s merely additional scripture that we believe to be true along with the Bible.

One could easily take offense by your comment, because it seems to imply that what we believe in is wrong. I am not saying that what you or anyone else around here believes is wrong. Take a lesson from that. And please, think carefully before you post.

I think VK is cube.

its amazing to see how quickly this thread degenerated into another religion “discussion”

please lock it someone…

oh, and valarking, i hope you were kidding…

Regards,
~Delta

its not THAT amazing.

  1. There is a astounding similarity that Cube has to Kansas.
  2. Kansas is a religious zealot.

1 + 2 = religion discussion.
