I’m insanely ambitious and a happy person.

i think these works are crap!! i want to make something very new of it’s kind!

you might say that it’s somekind of a simple work, this is because i’m busy with studying and don’t have much time to spend on 3d!

anyways, i feel that i want to master everything, is that good or bad.

If you want to master everything, then you’ll need patience and a lot of practice.

That’s very ambitious indeed, yet to master and do that many things at once you’ll need extreme devotion, extreme organization, extreme discipline, and possibly a lot of financial resources to go on top.

I want to know everything
I want to be everywhere
I want to bleep everyone in the world
I want to do something THAT MATTERS!

Man what a great album.

No one can be a master of everything. Pick the things that matter the most to you and focus on them.

I have to reply to this, because, I am the same way. You see, I live in a boring little town, and no one here does great things. But online, I find people who want to be heros, too.

I have found, the more things you master, the better you know the things you already have mastered (there is no end) and the better your understanding of new things becomes. When you master many things so many links form between them and they become as one knowledge. And there will always be new things to master as the world is not short on them…

If you live in a town like I’m in, people will insult you for not being ordinary on occasion, but many more times mostly from the kids, and occasionally the older folk, you will get an in-passing word which confirms that surely in to be a hero there is purpose.

I wouldn’t mind blenderheads saving the world.*

  • Too many times it is known how pixels on a screen can make the best of the utter worst.

Nice work. Keep on dreaming! Most people when they reach certain age and have not accomplished what they imagined to do simply stop dreaming. Experience seems to grind people down to narrow path.

Remember, the greatness is a state of mind.

And on the subject of heros: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Don't_Need_Another_Hero

Dude, stop wanting and start working. Actively persuing ideas as opposed to wanting community approval will get you much further. Stop worrying about opinions.

I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To
model them is my real test
To
animate is my cause

I will travel across the net
Searching far and wide
Teach
myself to understand
The power that’s inside
Blender!

Gotta model it all–

It’s you and me
I know it’s my destiny
Blender!

Ooooh, you’re my best friend
In a world we must defend
Blender!

Gotta model it all–

Our hearts so true
Our courage will pull us through
You teach me and I’ll teach you
Blender!

Gotta model it all!

Gotta model it all!

Yeeaa.

I do apologize.

/end anti-seriousness

3DGURU: your stuff isn’t crap. Just keep working away it in your spare time and you’ll slowly become ‘the very best’

you are really ambitious, hope you can make this dream come true.

Once you tell your ambitions, they’re gone …

Dude, stop wanting and start working.

I thought this to myself before, and actually started working. Then, for some reason or another, I stopped. I felt bad, too. I can’t tell you why, but you have to have the right attitude in order to start working.

But, 3DGURU, you can be as great as Alexander the Great, and you will still die and be forgotten. You can also be great and it not bring lasting satisfaction.

All I can say is if you want to be truly great, then go happily serve others in whatever they need. Because, do you prefer the sort of person who expects to be served, or gladly serves others?

why say hero when the goal is really god? you want to be a hero teach a kid to teach others so your legend lives on. if you want to be a god…if i knew the answer to that i would be a rich and have a secretary that could type.

So if your as great as Alexander the Great was, then you will be forgotten as he clearly has been? Your argument is invalid…

+1

Give it time. Alexander the Great WILL be forgotten.

So if your as great as Alexander the Great was, then you will be forgotten as he clearly has been?

What I mean is that all these people are dead and that being great in the eyes of men is short lived. Because sooner or later you’re going to die and it won’t amount to anything. Being remembered is temporary. Like for instance all the history that no one knows about that was long ago.

It doesn’t matter if you learn to do everything, and it doesn’t matter if you are the best at what you do know.
In the end, all that matters is how the ones you love remember you. Every one remembers Stalin and Hitler! It is sometimes better to be loved by a few, than remembered by many.

it’s not that i want to be remembered ! < not at all >
it’s all about that I believe that i can do nice stuff & have to…
want to be very positive and teach that to my ancestors.

@ delic : no.

If you do the best you can, than you have done more than many.

I doubt that, unless the human race is extinct and all traces of human history are wiped out of existence, legends will remain known. History is taught in schools you know? And some people dedicate their lives to this stuff. The older it is, the more important/interesting it becomes as well, its value increases over time.

History from long ago was forgotten because civilization wasnt at the level that it currently is, recording these things wasnt thought of as important, no one was around saying “Oh! We should record this so that people in the future can know our history!”, people were interested in surviving, and before that even, we just didnt have the intelligence to do much, we’re a pretty young race, so our history doesnt go bad that far anyway.
There were however some exceptions of course, like the Egyptians, but they probubly arnt as far back as what your talking about.

Either way, our history these days is recorded and stored in many different ways, and as I mentioned above, people dedicate their lives to keeping it alive and learning as much about the past as they can.

Thats a pretty depressing thing to say, and its incorrect either way.
No matter what you do it effects the future of the human race, even if the majority of people dont do things which directly have some major impact, however some people do.

Do you think that Albert Einstein died and everything he did amounted to nothing?
There are countless other examples.

Nothings stopping anyone from having a goal, completing that goal, and becoming as well known as Albert Einstein and having as much of, if not more of and impact on history as he did. It is such a difficult thing to accomplish though, it makes standing around saying stuff like “I want to… <insert something here>” seem pointless, even counter productive in some ways.
