Or, at least, that’s what an e-mail that i got says. It’s from:
GLOBALCOM SOFTWARE INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY AND PROMOTIONS.
EGASTRAAT 254,
AMSTERDAM,
THE NETHERLANDS.
FROM: THE DESK OF THE MANAGING DIRECTOR
INTERNATIONAL PROMOTION/PRIZE AWARD DEPT,
SCFN: GWK/5333/025648/03UAD.
BATCH: 241/2002/BLL.
It says i was picked from some lottery thing, but i find it hard to believe that it’s genuine since it doesn’t even have my name in the e-mail…
It’s an amazing coincidence, but just in the last week I have had 3 different Nigerian gentlemen contact me by email asking if they might transfer between 20 and 50 million dollars each via my bank account. And they are going to give me 10% of the cash!
So, I have resigned from my job, put a deposit on a new car, and I’m looking at purchasing a yacht.
Actually, it just told me to contact some guy to get my money. I sent him an e-mail (who knows, i might have actually won something!) and i’ll see what happens. There was also some phone number, but it was a netherlandian phone number, and i’m not gonna call long distance for something that probably will cost me like 5000 dollars for the phone call.
