Some more things to add to the other post plus this one , because they are very similar. -

Start with a plan. :slight_smile:

  • Concept arts of characters.
    Remember to break them down into simple shapes.

  • Story outlines.

  • Use a giant amount of references.

And if you plan on making stories , Celtx and WriterDuet are great for scripts and such.
