Idea for script: Saving animated environment maps

You can save a static environment map, but if you have an animation you can’t… and that’s the case where it is more needed/useful !

I wonder if this could be done thru Python ? Maybe saving in separate images per frame and loading them into correct texture with framechange event ?

if you can’t load a sequence of environment maps, what good does this do you?

in the python 2.34 api it doesn’t look like you have access to the image, I can’t see how to save or load one

unless getImage and setImage work for envmaps… the docs don’t say
