CubeFan… that’s a bit too much for one category. Only one movie forum would do it. Especially as there isn’t that much movies presented to the Finished projects forum anyways…
As for suggestion of new forum, I’d recommed a bug-forum, to which people could post the bugs they find from Blender
what about cgtalk.com? they have like over 30. hm…i know they dont concentrate on one app like elysiun, but that just takes off about 7 or so forums that you can have.
I say OS / hardware geared Forums. like SGI/IRIX, Apple/Mac OS X PC/Linux, Sun/Solaris, PC/Windows, …
Which will make fixing / building Blender on certain platforms easier. All OS and compilers don’t use %100 same header files. Like a SGI build problems might not appear in Linux on PC. I’m pretty sure SGI heads will pushing dmedia stuff which Linux lacks. So to keep the OS war out of the way seperate forums should be formed.
Well, I don’t find it too bad to have some OS wars now and then… 
but I admit it, your idea is really excellent!!!
Yes, since there’s going to be an increased interest in Blender developement, why shouldn’t we have some special forums for each platform???
