Hello.
I have a bunch of ies files.
Some of those lights are LED and linear, but when I open an IES marked 25dm (meaning 2.5m long and about 2cm wide lamp) the light still only works as a point (circular).
How do I turn this into a long lamp? If I use an Area lamp I can scale it until I get a good size, but will that still work correctly in terms of light output?
Or should I just array 300 lamps in a straight line? That doesn’t sound correct…
