If you *can* limit a resize to one axis in PET...

would you let me know in what build and how because here I just can’t.

Thanks

Jean

P.S. PET mode is proportional editing, initiated with the Okey.

i found this a while ago, i think i submitted a bug report or feature request in the bug tracker.

its only in the BF cvs i think. Ztonzy compiles it daily in that thread that has over 30 pages

BF CVS blender as of today doesn’t have axis restriction on scaling while using PET. I smashed as many keys as I could and the fact that there’s only one scale number confirms this for me at least.

You can restrict axis using PET on grab, but I don’t think that is even new.

The PET tool never worked with axis restriction.

From your other thread: 2.25 should flip along the axis you choose. That was after all the basis for mirroring. Just tested in 2.23 and it flips.

THis is sadly true, it could be nice to have it though…

All I can say is “whoops” :). I think I wasn’t very awake (in the ATI catalist 3.10 thread). Axis restriction in PET doesn’t work for me either when resizing…

I never hated being right any more than that !

PET is a wonderful tool anyway, especially if one helps oneself with a mordon  ; thanks for refreshing my memory Halfgaar as I did indeed forget that the PET can be limited to an axis when moving or rotating vertices.
