I am trying to animate a robot running. His rig is admittedly rather complex, and uses a lot of rules, but it was working until I tried to make him do a roll. His knee will invert, ignoring the pole target or the bend pre-built into the rig. The puzzling thing is that it only does this on single frames, and right when the frame is selected. Scrubbing the slider or playing the animation shows it working as it should, but if I try to do single frame operations or a network renderer such as vswarm, it may invert the knee.
The maddening thing is that if blender “thinks” about it at all, it fixes itself. If I move the bone at all, or toggle between edit and pose mode, it goes back to how it should be.
Another possibly important thing is that it is in the second scene datablock, and it is always the right leg.
Any insight is appreciated.:spin:
