I'm completely new to this. Any suggestions?

I had just recently found out about Blender from watching a video on YouTube.
I was wondering if there is any tips, or any tutorials for complete novice’s to Blender?
I would really love to start to be good at Modelling and stuff within a few weeks, maybe even months with this software.
Please let me know if you have any TuT’s for beginners or tips!
Cheers.

Check out the two obvious powerhouse sites www.blendercookie.com as well as www.blenderguru.com . I believe they have some basic tutorials to get you started, then more advanced stuff to really sink your teeth into. There is also a tutorial section in these forums, just have a look around (providing you’ve registered and become a memeber, it’s free). There is also some really great help, tips and advice that come from this site. Take care and happy blending!

Here is a link to blender cookie’s getting started with blender series.. After that just go through the tutorials on the pages White Rabbit suggested.

Start of with learning the basics as a base to help understand more advanced tutorials http://gryllus.net/Blender/3D.html
